a little late

Well - the last weeks have been a serious roller coaster for me... let's start with the competition surrounding my job. As most of you know, I have been working for the Forest Service for the last 3 years in the draughting department. For the last year, I have been doing my job and fulling in another maternity position (so 2 jobs). Finally after all that, they were able to post my job permanently. So also - they have a BLEEPIN' stupid interview process that let's a person showcase their BS skills, so some dumb BROAD came in and BS'd better than me (I know - I didn't think it was possible either!) and now she get's my job. *sigh* So as of Mar. 31st I am out of a job. It took me about a week to stop crying and yelling and swearing and feeling sorry for myself but.. now I am just feeling sorry for myself so at least it's a little easier on those around me! I am possibly taking a 3 month term with another portion of my office, I will update you as things roll along. Just goes to show you that you can't take a job for granted!

I am so sorry to hear that. I just don't think that that is fair. Unbelievable. You probably don't want to believe this, but I think that there is something else in store for you. Something much better and bigger. I guess it is easy for me to say that but that has been our modo lately. Everything happens for a reason, even if you don't know what that reason is yet. Hang in there, again easy for me to say. Take care.

Hi. We just got settled so thisis the first time I am reading this (a little late). It just makes no sense to me. That's our tax dollars hard at work...training someone new to do something that you already do a terrific job at, and putting you out of a job. Idiots! But, I agree that there is something out there that's meant for you. We've had our share of incidents with Dono's job and he has found something great. We'll chat soon, we need to give you our new number and address...we'll callone night this week. Say hi to Colin and the girls for us. Hugs!
